Hotel King'S Court - Amsterdam

This place was amazin! Super clean rooms and the staff were really friendly. The tram stop is just a short walk which is great for exploring the city. Breakfast was decent too, had a nice variety. I also liked that there was a fridge in the room for snacks!

Really nice stay, we were there for 3 days. The restaurant was modest and offered warm dishes.

The weather was particularly warm, had very nice stay for four nights. The rooms were all functional and new-fashioned with ac. The food was savoury, I greatly enjoyed croissants, toast, cereal, fresh fruit and eggs. No complaints, the hotel met the needs.

A balance of wins and fails

The location was fantastic , with easy access to public transport making day trips easy. The room was pristine, showcasing an excellent attention to cleanliness throughout my stay.

Regrettably, the breakfast selection was disappointingly limited. The staff seemed indifferent, lacking the warmth often expected at hotels.

I appreciated the daily cleaning services and spacious family-friendly rooms. The bar has snacks, and the Wi-Fi connection is strong in rooms. Prices are decent for the service provided. Attentive staff is willing to assist whenever needed. A pleasant stay 😊

While I found my room clean, I noted some minor wear like stains on the carpet. Breakfast lacked variety, with the same few options daily, which didn't quite hit the mark for me. The noise from the street could be distracting at times, especially at night. I also missed a proper dinner option at the hotel, heading out for meals every evening.

King's court is a fantastic spot! The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was spacious. It was super convenient being so close to the tram stop. Plus, the staff was really helpful, giving us our room earlier than expected when we arrived!

Not what I expected

I was really disappointed with my stay. The room was so small, like crammed into a closet, and the bed felt older than me. The breakfast was super basic, and I wasn't a fan of the vibe around the area. At least the bar/lounge area was decent for hanging out after a long day of exploring.

We had a room for 7, and the twin beds were super comfy. The place was clean and tidy, but it was a bit cramped. One bathroom for all of us was a challenge, even with the two sinks. No coffee in the room was a bummer, just tea and creamer. The room wasn't cleaned during our 4-night stay, a letdown. They had a fridge and air conditioning though, nice. The location was pretty quiet, and the tram was just a short walk away.

Rude interactions at the front desk!!! Cold bathrooms during cooler months!!! Additional fees felt excessive and unnecessary!!! Notable noise disturbances from traffic at night!!! Toilets had awkward installations and cleanliness issues!!!

I found the rooms spacious and very clean. While the location was convenient for accessing public transport, the breakfast options could use more variety. The staff were friendly and quick to assist when we needed extra heating in our room during the cooler weather. A good option for a short stay.

The location here is wonderful, close to the airport, with a restaurant just 500 meters away and a great breakfast menu including croissants, toast, cereal, fresh fruit.
